TWOB
Tandem cell-based photoelectrochemical hydrogen production with novel high-entropy electrocatalysts and oxynitride photoabsorbers
In a Nutshell
The TWOB project team has set itself the goal of producing green hydrogen by using resource-efficient materials and utilizing the concept of photosynthesis. The combination of different semiconductor materials in a photoelectrochemical tandem cell allows the use of the full spectrum of sunlight for CO2-neutral hydrogen production. These novel syntheses offer solutions for increasing efficiency and open up pioneering approaches to sustainable hydrogen production.
