Justin Klimek and Niko Kruse at the 2025 GRC Reactions at Surfaces

Two members of the Su₂nCat-CO₂ group, Justin Klimek and Niko Kruse, took part in the Gordon Research Conference on Chemical Reactions at Surfaces 2025 in Ventura, California.

Both PhD students presented their recent research in the form of poster presentations, highlighting their work over the last few months. Justin presented his work on point defects in rutile TiO₂ (110) surfaces for the conversion of greenhouse gases, while Niko’s work focused on the synthesis and structure of TiS₂ nanoparticles on the Au(111) surface.
