Lars Mohrhusen receives the Ewald Wicke Award of the German Bunsen Society

Dr. Lars Mohrhusen, Junior Research Group Leader of the Su2nCat-CO2 group, received the Ewald Wicke Award 2025.
The German Bunsen Society for Physical Chemistry (DBG) and the Ewald Wicke Foundation are thus honoring his outstanding scientific achievements in the field of heterogeneous catalysis and photocatalysis at the interface between fundamental research in physical chemistry and applied problems in technical chemistry, particularly on “Experimental studies of the role of defects, single atoms and two-dimensional systems on the (photo)catalytic activity and selectivity of heterogeneous catalysts for hydration reactions and for C1-chemistry.”
The laudatory speech was held by Prof. Dr. Katherina Al-Shamery, Carl von Ossietzky University Oldenburg.
